Neon Drift Circuit: tilt or buttons?
The eternal arcade racing question shows up in Neon Drift Circuit too: tilt steering or on-screen buttons? We played the full track list with each to settle it for ourselves.
Tilt wins on the long, flowing circuits. It lets you hold a drift smoothly and keeps a finger free for boost, which matters when the chain drifts start stacking. The downside is tight hairpins, where tilt can overcorrect if you're not steady.
Buttons are the safer pick for technical tracks packed with sharp turns. You get precise control, though your boost timing has to share screen space with steering. New players should probably start here and graduate to tilt later.
Our verdict: learn both. Switch to tilt for the speed-focused night circuits and keep buttons for the twisty ones. The game lets you change between races, so there's no reason to commit to just one.
